I’ve always struggled with speaking in front of people, so I made an appointment because I wanted to overcome
this and understand why I find it so difficult.
During the counseling session, I was surprised to learn that a minor incident from my childhood had
lingered as a trauma well into my middle age.
I feel refreshed, and I have a good feeling that things will go well from now on. It feels like I’ve finally
taken that first step I couldn’t take on my own before.
I hadn’t clicked with a counselor I’d seen previously and was on the verge of giving up, but I’m so glad
I didn’t give up and kept searching
until I met Nawa-sensei.
