10/6 (火)The 11th WCAP のシンポジウムで代表の杉本とDr.Ekaがお話しさせていただきます！ シンポジウムのテーマは【TRAUMA-INFORMED EVIDENCE-BASED PSYCHOTHERAPY IN PSYCHIATRIC PRACTICE: FROM STABILIZATION TO RECOVERY】(精神科診療におけるトラウマに配慮したエビデンスに基づく心理療法：状態の安定化から回復へ) トラウマに関連するこころの問題では、感情のコントロールが難しくなったり、自分を傷つけてしまったり、「消えてしまいたい」と感じたり、現実感が薄れる（解離）といった、つらい症状がみられることがあります。 こうした背景から、現在の精神科医療では、単に症状を抑えるだけでなく、まず安心できる状態を整え、そのうえで少しずつトラウマに向き合い、最終的にはその人らしい回復を目指す「段階的でトラウマに配慮した治療」が重要だと考えられています。 本シンポジウムでは、危機的な状態への対応から回復に至るまでのプロセスをわかりやすくお伝えし、「回復への道筋」について、参加者の皆さまとともに考えていきます。 ご興味のある方は、ぜひ公式HPをチェックしてみてください！ 詳細・大会HPはこちらhttps://www.wcap2026.jp/

On Tuesday, October 6, our Representative, Mr. Sugimoto, and Dr. Eka will be speaking at the 11th WCAP symposium! The symposium theme is: 【TRAUMA-INFORMED EVIDENCE-BASED PSYCHOTHERAPY IN PSYCHIATRIC PRACTICE: FROM STABILIZATION TO RECOVERY】 Given this context, modern psychiatric care emphasizes "phased, trauma-informed treatment." Rather than simply suppressing symptoms, this approach prioritizes establishing a sense of safety, gradually addressing the trauma, and ultimately aiming for a recovery that is authentic to the individual. In this symposium, we will clearly explain the process—from managing crisis situations to achieving recovery—and explore the "path to recovery" together with the participants. On Sunday, September 13, our office representative, Sugimoto, will be speaking at “Understanding Children’s ‘Inappropriate’ Behavior and Responding Appropriately”!
Have you ever been puzzled by your child’s behavior and wondered, “Why are they acting that way?” In this event, we’ll explore the reasons and meanings behind children’s behavior and work together to find ways for both parents and children to interact in a way that brings peace of mind to both. Sugimoto, our office representative, will speak on “Understanding and Responding to Children’s ‘Maladaptive’ Behavior.” There is surely a reason behind your child’s puzzling behavior. Please join us to learn tips for supporting your child’s fluctuating emotions. This event consists of two parts. Part 1 will feature a lecture by Mr. Sugimoto, and Part 2 will be a workshop led by professional coach Yukio Ohara. Dr.Ekaが名古屋在住インドネシア人コミュニティのためのメンタルヘルスセミナーでお話ししました！
2026年7月26日、在日インドネシア共和国大使館主催のもと、Dr.Ekaが名古屋在住のインドネシア人コミュニティ約100名の 皆様に向けて、【メンタルヘルスセミナー＆ワークショップ】でお話させていただきました。 日本で暮らすインドネシアの方々は、製造業やエンジニアリング、建設、看護・介護、研究、教育など、さまざまな分野で 活躍されています。 その一方で、文化の違いや環境の変化、家族と離れて暮らすことによるストレスなど、見えにくい負担を抱えることも 少なくありません。 今回のセミナーでは、 ストレスやバーンアウト、不安やうつへの理解について深めながら、こころのケアの大切さや、 必要なときに支援を求めることについてお話ししました。 3時間にわたり、対話やワークを通して、とてもあたたかく深い時間となりました。 このような貴重な機会をいただいた在日インドネシア共和国大使館および関係者の皆さまに、心より感謝申し上げます。 カウンセリングオフィスVISIONは、これからも多様な背景を持つ方々のこころのサポートに取り組んでまいります。

Dr. Eka spoke at a mental health seminar for the Indonesian community in Nagoya!
On July 26, 2026, Dr. Eka delivered a three-hour mental health seminar and workshop for nearly 100 Indonesians living in Nagoya, organized by the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in Japan. Many Indonesians living in Japan work across a wide range of professions, including manufacturing, engineering, construction, nursing, elderly care, research, and education. Alongside these roles, many navigate the challenges of adapting to a new culture and life away from home. The seminar focused on increasing awareness of mental health, particularly in recognizing stress, burnout, anxiety, and depression, while encouraging participants to seek support when needed. VISION Counseling Office sincerely thanks the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in Japan and all partnering organizations for making this meaningful event possible.
