However, now that we have a clear timeline for the office renovation, we are pleased to announce that we will resume in-person counseling starting Monday, June 8! We are pleased to announce that the work will be completed and the office handed over on Friday, June 5, and in-person counseling sessions will resume on Monday, June 8! Yesterday was the public lecture hosted by the Niigata Trauma Research Society, led by Director Nawa! We were honored to have Nobuko Hattori-sensei—author of "Ways to Protect Your Mental Health Right Now: Flashback Care" and a prominent figure on X and YouTube—join us to deliver a lecture titled “Understanding and Responding to Trauma and Flashbacks”! The roundtable discussion with VISION members in the second half was also lively, covering a wide range of topics related to trauma! ３月4日火災義援金サイト 立ち上げました
【カウンセリングオフィスVISION 3月4日火災義援金サイト立ち上げの経緯】 ホームページやSNSでお知らせした通り、3月4日未明にオフィスが火災に遭いました。消防の調査によると、オフィスにあったモバイルバッテリー付近から出火した模様とのことです。幸いけが人はいませんでしたが、当オフィスが火元となっており、ご迷惑・ご心配をおかけした近隣の皆さま、関係者の皆さまに深くお詫び申し上げます。 多くの方から「クラファンやらないの？」「力になるよ」とお声がけ頂き、大変感謝しております。ただ、自然災害等であればともかく、自分たちの不始末で招いた火災についてクラウドファンディングをしてこちらからご支援を募るというのも道理に合わないように思えます。一方で、元々火の気を扱う業態ではないため少額の火災保険にしか入っておらず、今後予定している内装修復工事で相当額の持ち出しが生じるため、経営は非常に厳しい状況です。 そこで、大々的にクラウドファンディングを立ち上げることはしないものの、VISIONを支援してくださる方からのご寄付の窓口として、この「火災義援金」ページを作成しました。 https://vision-104741.square.site/vision34 皆様の温かいご支援、ご協力を賜りますよう、何卒よろしくお願い申し上げます。

We have launched a website to accept donations to support the victims of the March 4 fire
[Counseling Office VISION: Background on the Launch of the March 4 Fire Relief Fund Website] As we announced on our website and social media, our office suffered a fire in the early hours of March 4. According to the fire department’s investigation, the fire appears to have started near a portable battery charger located in the office. Fortunately, no one was injured; however, as our office was the source of the fire, we deeply apologize to our neighbors and all those involved for the inconvenience and concern this has caused. We are deeply grateful to the many people who have reached out to us, asking, “Aren’t you going to start a crowdfunding campaign?” and offering to help. However, while crowdfunding might be appropriate for natural disasters, it seems unreasonable to us to solicit support through such a campaign for a fire caused by our own negligence. Furthermore, since our business does not involve handling open flames, we only have minimal fire insurance coverage. The upcoming interior renovation work will require a significant out-of-pocket expense, placing our business in a very difficult financial situation.
