At Counseling Office VISION, we also accept requests from companies for counseling and trauma treatment for employees. We provide counseling and trauma treatment to employees with physical or mental disorders, employees with work-related troubles or trauma, and employees who wish to improve their interpersonal skills. This can be recorded as a necessary expense for the corporation as a welfare expense. We will discuss payment methods, etc. The hours and fees are the same as each care plan. Children’s Mental Care Case Study Meeting
Representative Sugimoto will be speaking at the "Children's Mental Care Case Study Meeting" of the Niigata Children's Mental Care Network Project, sponsored by Niigata Prefecture and co-sponsored by Niigata University School of Medicine. This project aims to improve the response capabilities and strengthen cooperation among all medical, welfare, and education professionals in Niigata Prefecture regarding children's mental health, and has been held 3-4 times a year since 2022. As we have received inquiries, we will start a service where psychologists and psychiatrists from Counseling Office VISION will visit you and give lectures on trauma treatment, counseling, and mental health. This can be used in a variety of situations, such as as a mental health measure or employee benefit for companies, or as a lecture for teachers and students at schools. Please feel free to use it. The time, fee, and content of the lectures are as follows. ・Lecture on a single theme. 1 hour, 30,000 yen. ・Lecture on 1-2 themes. 2 hours, 50,000 yen. ・Combination of lectures and group work on multiple themes. 5 hours, 100,000 yen. Given a lecture at the JSCNP Clinical Trial Ethics Education Seminar
Representative Sugimoto spoke at the 2024 Clinical Trials - Ethics Education Seminar at the 54th Japanese Society of Psychoneuropharmacology and the 34th Japanese Society of Clinical Psychoneuropharmacology Joint Annual Meeting. In a talk entitled "Clinical Trials and Ethical Considerations for Pediatric and Adolescent Patients," he spoke about research ethics, conflicts of interest (COI), issues with drugs used in children, and informed consent and informed assent for minors. He also spoke about ethical issues and countermeasures in research involving children, using examples such as a study on medication guidance by pharmacists conducted at the Department of Psychiatry, Niigata University School of Medicine, a magnetoencephalography (MEG) study on gaze recognition in autism spectrum disorders, an international collaborative study on bullying prevention and intervention, and the creation of the AMED project "Guidelines for Drug Treatment of Child and Adolescent Mental Disorders" led by Professor Kazuhiko Nakamura of Hirosaki University. https://jsnpcnp.com/jscnp-seminar-2/

We welcomed a new member to our office
We welcomed a new member, Dr. Zain Ekachaeryanti, to our office this May. Dr. Eka was an Indonesian international student and a graduate student in the Department of Psychiatry at Niigata University Graduate School of Medical and Dental Sciences. She received her PhD (medicine) this March and was appointed as a researcher and faculty member (specially appointed assistant professor) in April. Dr. Eka has eight years of clinical experience as a doctor and psychiatrist in her home country, and has the certification in Traumatic Stress Studies from the Trauma Research Foundation by Dr. Bessel van der Kolk. She advocates trauma care and mindfulness healing on SNS, and has an amazing 124,000 followers across Asia. Dr. Eka can provide treatment in English and Indonesian. VISION also offers online treatment, so even if you live outside Niigata Prefecture, or in Japan or Asia*, you can receive treatment online.
